A Good Set Of Scrapbooking Tools Will Get You In The Zone
Scrapbooking can either be a project full of creativity and fun or frustrating as hell, depending on your set of tools. Yes, I'm overdramatizing, but I'm trying to make a point here.
The scrapbooking fun is easily spoiled by missing tools or tools of low quality.
There’s a set of Cricut tools that you can rely on in any situation: The Cricut Essentials.
Let me tell you what kind of tools you will find in the set and why you need them for your scrapbooking projects:
Hook: The hook is a very precise tool to remove any tiny piece of paper from your cuts.
Spatula: I love the spatula tool, it's definitely one of my favorites. Have you ever tried to pick up tiny bits of paper from your cutting mat by hand? This tool will make it easy for you.
Scraper: A great tool to quickly clean your cutting mat after finished the project, or between cut sessions. It has never bruised my mat, I'm very pleased with it.
Scoop: The classy way to open up the fragile edges of your paper cuts. With the scoop tool you will not damage your cuts in this risky situation.
Scissors: Maybe I shouldn’t even mention this but… without high quality scissors you will never have the precision and reliability that you need for delicate cuts.
Knife: A high precision tools for the most complex cuts, but I also use it for lifting cuts off the mat by sliding it under the edges.
Bone Folder: Crease your Cricut paper, mark or score your paper.
Clear Ruler: Not much to say about this one. It’s the best tool to measure paper and card stocks for your project.
As you can see, each of these Cricut tools has a special task and during complex scrapbooking project you will be glad to have all of them close by.
